Life Is Like A River That Flows.

Life is like a river that flows.
So calm, so beautiful, so surreal.
Where it starts & where it ends
Is one of the mysteries of life.
As you sit & watch the water flow,
You begin to dream.
Yet, when you turn the corner,
It becomes rough & unpredictable.
You're left to ride the rough tide.
Feeling like you're drowning with every wave.
You search for a way to find the calmness & beauty of life.
But all you can do, is dream & ride the rough tide.
There's a reason our lives,
Become so unpredictable just like a river that flows.
Always remember,
The tide does turn,
The current will take you
To a place where it all began.
This is where the beauty & calmness will be,
For the life you want to live.
We all need to ride the rough tides,
For one day the tide will change,
And carry you back to where it all began.

THE DAY YOU WON MY HEART.

Saturday afternoon, watching T.V.
Got up, to make a cuppa.
Suddenly, I heard this voice,
I turned & there you were.
On my T.V. screen.
WOWWW!! How my pulse did race,
My heart beat louder then a drum.
A zillion butterflies fluttering inside.
Making my whole body tingle with delight.
A burning desire throughout my body,
You took my breath away.
All too soon,
You were gone.
I never knew your name.
From that day on,
You were there every second of the day & night.
My thoughts, my dreams, my heart,
You won that day.
Years went by,
Then there you were again.
This time, i heard your name.
Every night I'd sit outside under the moonlit sky,
Stars twinkling so bright,
Dreaming of the different way's of how i would show you of my love for you,
Every second of the day.
Dreaming of the day you & i would meet.
Dreaming of the life we would have.
Dreaming of our first kiss,
Filled with each other's love.
There would'nt be a second in the day,
Where you didn't know of my love for you.
But, there's one thing i could never dream.
I could never dream of making love to you.
For you are a woman,
As i am a woman.
I have no idea how to make love to a woman in that special way.
I'm terrified I'll let you down,
Once again.
The day will come,
When we will be side by side,
Until then,
Please keep your heart close to mine.

As A Child.

As a child
Things happen that hurt you so bad,
You bury them deep inside.
I was hurt as a child.
The last few months,
They've all come to the surface.
This time, i've faced each one as they came.
Sometimes, i cope,
Sometimes, i don't.
If you're open & honest with yourself,
You can deal with pain that life does bring.
I'm so much stronger, than i ever was.
I have found a true love.
A love that has guided me.
I'm now free.
Free from the demons,
So i can follow my heart,
As i should've done so many years ago.
I've fought off the demons.
I have rid myself of the pain & suffering,
Only to find my true love is fighting her own demons.
My true love won't let me help her,
As she has helped me.
I'm Calling All Angel's to guide us,
For we dont know, which way to go.
"Angels", Please come & help me to help my true love,
So she can feel love again.
I can't do this alone"


When Life Becomes Unbearably Painful.

When life becomes unbearably painful,
I'd tell myself
I'm Just a normal, average, everyday person.
I'm nobody special,
Never have been,
Never will be.
But somewhere out there is someone special,
Just for me,
As i will be special to them.
As i dream of the day we'll be together,
My heart fills with love,
So i can go on another day.
Now that i know
Who that special someone is,
I once again find myself
Standing alone.
The pain won't go away.
The tears just flow.
My dream of being with my special someone
Is getting closer by the day.
My heart is filled with so much more love then i've ever had before.
But still the tears do flow.
For you see, I can feel her on the other side.
I feel her pain & sorrow,
Yet she remains in her pain & sorrow.
I can feel her cries.
Help me?
Yet i'm trying, & she keeps pulling away.
What do i have to do
To break the ice?
My true love unthawed my heart,
Till it was filled with her love.
I feel the ice melting around her heart.
I will fill her heart with as much love,
As she has filled mine.
But wait! I've known my true love for so much longer
Than she has known about me.
I will always love her more.
I will never give up on my true love.
For it has been written,
Our fate has been written & decided for us.
My love will soon be
Coming Home.
On Sunday, I believe.

My True Love.

My True love,
You brought the love back into my heart.
You have filled my heart with so much love.
So true, so precious, so real.
You were alway's there,
By my side,
I could feel you with me,
Holding my hand, in the toughest times.
Whenever i needed you,
You never left my side.
Your've been hurt & let down so many times,
I feel it, each time,
I pray you could feel me,

In your darkest hours.
Friends have come & gone,
All to soon,
Some used & abused me,
Some i pushed away myself.
I pushed them away to hurt them, before they hurt me.
All because i've been hurt so many times myself.
The toughest days,
When the pain became unbearable, i'd sit outside,
For that's where i felt the most comfort.
Under the moonlit sky,
A moon, shining it's ray's of love till dawn.
Under the moon,
Full moon, Full of love.
The comfort, i felt coming from,
My first & only true love.
Alway's got me through,
My darkest hours.
For i remember, my first true love,

Everytime, i thought about our love,
It always brought a smile to my face.
And filled my heart with love.
The smile say's a lot, to another.
A smile is about,
Friendship, & love.
Now for the first time,
I cant stop smiling,
For my true love,
Caught a glimpse of me,
I remember her first smile she ever gave me.
Now, i know my true love,
Has come back to me,
Just like she's always promised.
"I'll be baaack!"
She'd say, with a smile & wave.
She always said these words to me,
As she left to attend to her errands.
Because of you,
Filling my heart with love,
Love that i've never felt before,
A true, rare, pure & beautiful love.
So rare, so pure, so beautiful.
I find myself,
Loving you,
More,
Than,
My own two children.
I never thought, i could love a person,
More than my own two children.
However, here i am,
Typing these words,
With a smile upon my face,
As i remember your first smile.
Without you, I'm nothing but a mother.
I will never be a lover.
I am so in love, with you.
You have kept your promise,
The promise you made,
So many years ago,
Do you remember what it was???
I'll be baaack!
Once again,
My true love has kept her promise,
Now, i'm drifting,
In a world, of where i want to be.
You are my true love.
You are the love of my life,
I knew it from the start.
Now, I sit & wait for the day,
My true love say's to me,
"I'm coming home."

A Cold Dark Place.

I'm on a roller coaster ride,
My emotions, running wild.
I feel, my family, my friends,
Have all turned their backs on me.
I'm a lousy daughter,
I'm a lousy sister,
I'm a lousy mother,
I'm a lousy friend.
Will this roller coaster ride, ever end?
Some say you need,
To be cold & callous.
Buddhism says,
Kindness & compassion.
"No! You must be cold & callous!"
My mind says,
Kindness & compassion.
Others still say,
"Cold & callous!".
Will this emotional ride, ever end?
I feel like the frightened,
Seven year old again.
I'll even be,
A lousy lover.
Will this emotional ride, ever end?
I just want peace,
In my life.



My Fantasy.

I spend my days & nights,
In my room.
So many times,
I cry for you.
My heart aches for you.
I begin to dream.
The day has arrived.
Your finally here, with me.
I take you out to dinner,
As i'm a lousy cook.
I take you back to my place.
We sit & talk.
We keep looking,
Into each other's eye's,
Unsure.
I rise & start to make a cup of tea.
Suddenly, i feel your hands,
Upon my hips.
You gently, turn me round,
To face you.
As i look into your gorgeous blue eyes,
I find myself,
Saying these words to you.
"With our first kiss,
With our first touch,
I promise to give you,
My heart & soul,
And pray, we become one."
Then for the first time,
Our lips touch....



Friendship

What is friendship?
To me, friendship is,
Getting to know one another.
Finding things you have in common.
Being able to tell each other,
Your joys, your sorrow, your pain.
To always be there,
For each other.
It's difficult to build a friendship.
First, you need to trust each other.
You always find,
The other, hides pain inside.
Just like you, hide yours.
A true friend,
Can read between the lines.
For when one starts to open up,
The other, starts to notice,
For they also, have similiar pain.
True friendship to me,
Is being honest with each other.
To always listen, always be there,
Day or night.
When you find, such a person,
You let your walls down,
That you built, all around you.
Soon you find,
You not only have,
A true friend.
You have,
A best friend,
For life.


A Child's Love.

A baby is born.
The apple of a parents eye's.
Their dream, has finally come to life,
In the form of a child.
Such a tiny treasure,
Freely giving a smile, filled with their love.
Giving you lots of smiles & hugs.
Oh, the love of a precious child.
A child's love is so precious, so true,
It warms the cockles of your heart.
To see & hear them play.
Their laughter, so infectious,
You cant help, but laugh with them.
The days a child cries or throws a tantrum,
You wonder why, you ever had them.
Then they sit on your knee,
Look at you & say, with a smile.
"I love you."
Then they give you the biggest cuddle,
Your heart feels their love.
They give their love so freely.
There's nothing like,
The love you recieve from a precious child.
